Can I gather seeds from this?
I didn’t think the dying bloom on my pickle plant could get that interesting, but here we are. It seems it is producing seeds? I’m guessing it pollinated itself?
Any one know more about this? Can I gather them? The seeds are just at the end of the fluffy bits I’m thinking. Is there a time to take them? Do I put a mesh bag on it and wait for them to fall off? Or just grab them? I was trying to look up some general senico seed info, but it’s pretty vague in all the steps. @vvvelo @RJG @SirLiquorice do you guys know anything about this?

@vvvelo There’s just the other flower open on a different shoot of the pickle plant. They didn’t quite bloom at the same time but there was some overlap days where there was a few flowers on open on the 2nd while the first was completely open. 🤷♀️ I don’t know anything about pollinating and seeds or flower life cycles 😅
@PurpleSucculent no worries! Seems a very not discussed topic on the internet. I can find a little bit on info, but nothing with clear steps and pictures. Looks like they may pop off when ready, but doesn’t seem like anyone had much with the seeds in this family of plants.
