Rubber plant is asking for help 😩

My #RubberPlant started looking all sad all of a sudden. The soil is not too moist but I also do water it regularly (same as always and it was thriving until now). Does anyone know what this could be? #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy #NewPlantMom #PlantsMakePeopleHappy

if you’re using the greg schedule, it’s still learning, so if it says to water maybe just check the soil with your finger to make sure it’s dry, then just snooze your water schedule.
does your pot have drainage as well?
they seem to like direct sun as well, if you’re watering but it’s not getting enough sun to use up that water then the soil might be too soggy.
@carlsreid I always check it actually! I know Greg can’t know for sure so I wait for it to get dry at the top 1” and then water πŸ’¦
@carlsreid and yes most definitely very well draining πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ that’s why I’m so confused! πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ
@carlsreid I moved it into the sunniest spot today, let’s see what happens haha, thank you so much! ❀️
@VastGloriosa oh it’s defiiitely not dry. I suspect overwatering but then again not sure since I’ve been sticking to the same watering schedule for a while.
@squat4pb I water mine when the soil is completely dry. The top of the soil does look too dry. Also your rubber plant could be root bound as well. I would repot it in a larger pot with drainage. They do get root bound pretty quickly. I had to repot mine 2 times this year. I would go up to a 6 or 7 inch pot with drainage.
Maybe it’s a lighting issue my fiddle leaf fig is dying and it was in front of the window I live where it gets dark at 4pm and it might be too cold near the window not sure if you would have that issue
