Why is my Monstera turning yellow?

Hey everyone! I recently started taking care of some plants, and I have this beautiful Monstera that I absolutely love. Lately, I’ve noticed a few of its leaves turning yellow, and I’m not sure why. Does anyone know what might be causing this or how I can fix it? #Monstera #yellowing
Give that baby a bigger deeper home! With a good sturdy stake!
Hi this yellowing is normal this also happened to me and a leaf pushed through but it took its time. You should put your monstera in a chunkier soil mix with drainage to avoid root rot as this may cause a lot of problems with your plant good luck !!
Chunky soil, because those roots need air! Beware of a bigger pot, monsteras like to be in a tighter pot, so they don’t get root rot. Ideally terra cotta if you can. They are super hardy plants so don’t give up! Gorgeous leaves!
@rinalina thanks! πŸ₯Ή hopefully mine feels better soon!
@teacher12 thank you so much Laura! I just ordered some chunky soil! 😁
@teacher12 mine are in big deep/tall pots and LOVE it!
