Fungi or insects ?
#Eggplant
Hello! I'm here again asking for help, my eggplants were alive and well just last month but here they are now. They have yellow leaves in the corner at the bottom, then the yellowish rises up, almost turning pale yet I can't see any worms or insects with it, my eggplants are now bearing fruit but somehow also dying?? what should I do? I did the dish soap and baking soda method incase it's really a fungi infestation but in my country it's very hot and humid here. Thank you!

It looks like a case of overwatering, but I might be wrong. Letβs see what others have to say.
If I were you, Iβd prune the dead leaves at the bottom of the plants to prevent fungus growth.
Also, be cautious with using baking soda, as it can increase the soilβs pH and leave white crusty deposits on the leaves.
Iβve never grown eggplants before, but if theyβre like tomatoes which I grow, the leaves at the bottom tend to turn yellow then dry brown after the plant starts growing new leaves at the top and bearing fruits.
I hope they will get better soon.
