Fungi or insects ?

#Eggplant
Hello! I'm here again asking for help, my eggplants were alive and well just last month but here they are now. They have yellow leaves in the corner at the bottom, then the yellowish rises up, almost turning pale yet I can't see any worms or insects with it, my eggplants are now bearing fruit but somehow also dying?? what should I do? I did the dish soap and baking soda method incase it's really a fungi infestation but in my country it's very hot and humid here. Thank you!

It looks like a case of overwatering, but I might be wrong. Let’s see what others have to say.

If I were you, I’d prune the dead leaves at the bottom of the plants to prevent fungus growth.

Also, be cautious with using baking soda, as it can increase the soil’s pH and leave white crusty deposits on the leaves.

I’ve never grown eggplants before, but if they’re like tomatoes which I grow, the leaves at the bottom tend to turn yellow then dry brown after the plant starts growing new leaves at the top and bearing fruits.

I hope they will get better soon.
