Oh my- you have 2 options
1: You get a new pot and change the soil COMPLETLE. 
2: you "drown" the ants with water and soap and clean the bucket, after that you cut the stem (where the node is) and propagate.

I had this with another plant, so sorry!! Yes a complete change of soil should do it-I had red ants in mine though and didn’t wear gloves! 🤪😩  good luck!!

Black pepper.

Put some Terro out for the ants. They will eat it and then the colony will die. No need to do anything with the plant or soil, in my experience.

ive found that cinnamon keeps ants away- this infestation seems quite serious tho so idk if it’ll work. it’s probably best to swap out the soil as @monsteraLOVER12 said!

@Amyrosecessna Good luck! Terro has never failed for me. Put some near where you see the ants so they find it, and hopefully in a couple days you’ll see no more ants.
