Free Hugs!

Free Hugs has had a LOT of #NewGrowth recently. But with all this growth, I’ve noticed these spots or areas that have developed. (They actually remind me of stretch marks.) They’re a little indented and almost like they’re β€˜missing color’ in those areas. Free Hugs seems healthy and like a #HappyPlants. But… what are these marks? Does anyone know? Or is it maybe a variegation that wasn’t present before?

Thank you for the tag, but I am not familiar with cactuses 🌡
This cactus looks very similar to the one I have (Joseph’s Coat) Mine did the same thing with the variegation when it started getting bigger! 😬
Looks like variegation to me
@vvvelo oh I thought you were, sorry.
@S.ham13 did it start out without variegation then? This guy was solid green a couple months ago and now these areas, they kind of ripple, or are indented. That’s why I wasn’t sure if it was variegation.
I have one too! I think its variegation
