What's wrong with my Gasteraloe?
I keep her in low light for 6+ hours a day, and I'm seeing the bottom of her leaves beginning to look yellow and squishy. I just repotted to a pot with drainage and looked at the roots, and it didn't seem that there was any rot. Her soil has really good drainage as far as I can see. What's going on? #gasteraloe #gasteria #succulentsquad #succulentlove

@TidyTigerpear Yep! Thanks!
@LittleSongbird I got the same issue when I repotted mine this spring. It got really sad and the lower leaves went limp and I thougt it was dying π₯² Luckily it just needed some time to adjust. And rewarded me plenty when summer came. Now it has 100 babies going on, and the roots have gone crazy (I thougt they had shallow roots, as it looked great last summer too and had almost no roots, but after a few months they were pouring out the bottom of the pot π).
@MockingJay Whoa!! That's amazing! Hopefully mine has babies someday!
If the leaves are close to the soil, and the soil was wet that could cause it. Iβve had that happen before. I bottom water to prevent soil and dirt, from touching the leaves because if there are any cuts it can get infected easily. I have started using cinnamon in all my dirt to prevent rotting and bugs,
@TidyTigerpear Thank you! And same.
Her condition hasn't gotten worse, but it also hasn't gotten better either. And then, she's also sunstressed.
I don't know why people say she needs a lot of light-- she sun stresses so easily!
