Is this pests?
So I just got this plant yesterday and Inoticed these brown speckles on some of the leaves. Is this a pest?! Or is it because the plant was somewhat neglected? #PestControl #GregGang #Greggers #TheThread #Syngonium

@EcoPlantLover @Succulent_Soul that looks like mechanical damage to me. The first one looks like something happened before the leaf unfurled. Possibly it got stuck opening due to low humidity or it got squished, but opened anyway. I say that because all the lines are even and roughly the same distance apart, so if you can see (in your minds eye 👀) a rolled up leaf getting a shallow scratch or being bent how that damage would look once opened up? The second picture just looks like post-unfurled leaf scratches or tears.
@Succulent_Soul The soil was pretty moist when I got it. Only a couple leaves look like that and only 2 have the weird stripe pattern.
@EcoPlantLover I wouldn’t worry about it too much unless it starts spreading to the rest of the plant
