My plant is getting yellow and leaves are drying looking ...
Does this pot have drainage holes? I find monstera do best with a few things: lots of light, a very well draining potting soil mix like aroid mix, and watering when theyβre nearly completely dry. I water thoroughly- soaking it through until the water is running through the drainage holes, then donβt water again until nearly dry. They can get root rot otherwise. Fertilizer is never a bad idea, but your plants primary food and nutrient source is the sun! Make sure and @Mamalinne in the answer or I wonβt see your reply.
@TemperatePersia the soil mix looks a bit too dense for a monstera! It could be unhappy about that :/ I suggest buying a specialized monstera soil mix which can cost a lot, or you can make your own with regular potting soil, coco chips, sand, orchid bark, sphagnum moss, peat moss, etc. itβs all about preferences ingredient-wise, but the soil should be chunky! If you buy the ingredients separately cou can build your own for whatever the plant youβre currently potting needs!
@TemperatePersia on another note, it almost looks like sunburn, how much direct sun is it getting per day?
