Longest aerial root ever??

Hi y’all. When I got this monstera standleyana, it has a very small aerial root, so I gave it a stick to climb up. It has grown over two feet in the past two months and shows no sign of stopping. Is this normal? Do I just make sure it has support? I have not found much about this issue online from other sources. #RarePlants #advice #MonsteraMonday #monsterastandleyana

You can also wrap it around- so instead of it growing straight up, it grows like a coil to conserve real estate and look bushier.

My standlyana is on a never-ending hoop and I keep wrapping it. (:
Dang!! Maybe a moss pole for it to cling to? I would say it’s trying to support itself for sure! @sarah10orio what do you think?πŸ€”
I can see its little nibs starting to cling to the stick but now I’m like, ok, so I just get a six foot long pole?
@sarah10orio that’s super neat! Thanks for sharing the pic
