Not really knowledgeable about Dahlias, but I have not come across any plant who likes to be watered every 2 days. Check for a care guide and don’t be misled by Greg’’s suggestions. That’s all it is… just a suggestion. It will taylor watering to your routine. Even if it does need frequent watering make sure it’s not sitting in water. Hopefully you have drainage.
