Help! Alocasia Jacklyn Corms
I "had" an Alocasia Jacklyn and these 2 little guys are what's left of it. Bittersweet I know. ð So I decided to stick them in-between 2 sheets of damp moss. Now to my surprise they're sprouting! I don't know what makes me think I can keep them alive when I couldn't even keep the Alocasia alive but here we are! So does anyone know when I should plant them in soil and in what direction? @LaSiguanaba Girl they see me coming and start the process. That's why I'm surprised at these little sweet peas! Pokin' out of their little homes. They obviously didn't get the memo. Ha!
@princesspitstop I swear I found some corms in an alocasia I killed and then I think I killed the corms!!! Iâm telling you, me and alocasiasâĶ Iâm like a moth to the flame! ð
@LaSiguanaba they're doing so well in there maybe I should just leave them where they're at until I see some kind of root action happening. At least that way I'll know which direction to plant them in. I'm just winging it at this point haha pray for me ð or them.

Im just now catching on exactly whats going on!ð guess i was even more lost about what exactly was going on. Those corms, they are the little bulbs that form off the main one i assume ??? If so. Im starting some balck colocasia that way now. I have 2 shoots. They sprout then die. Never getting more than 1-2 leaves before another dies off. But each round it gets bigger. I assume its using those shoots to get energy to make roots and get bigger.
@TheConservator I didn't know what they were until recently either I don't feel bad lol You grew those from Corm's??? So it's possible?
