What’s going on with the plant? How can I fix it?

Spider mites possibly? I’d blast it clean with a hose and wipe down the leaves with neem oil & spray it on the stems and soil as well
Whoa Nelly 😳 So unfortunately your tomato plant is suffering from a severe spider mite infestation.
@VenusianPlants oh most definitely. One of the worst I've seen 😟 @SuperbIvy28 You can try to save it, but I'm going to be straight with you: this is an advanced infestation that's likely been going on for quite awhile. It's caused extensive damage already, and for a plant this small, I don't have very high hopes for recovery. It's one of those situations where you have to decide if the amount of time and energy necessary to try and save it is worth it to you, versus just tossing it and starting over. If it were me, I'd toss it. Also, be sure to closely inspect any nearby plants, since spider mites can very easily spread to other plants.
I see alot of those in the grass, I thought they were just small spiders but it turns out there spider mites.
@FunBoglaurel81 what you're describing may in fact be regular spiders. Spider mites are extremely hard to see with the naked eye. To confirm whether they're on a plant, shake/ tap a leaf directly over a sheet of white paper. Wait 20-30 seconds and then closely inspect the paper for tiny dots moving around.
