What's the best fertilizer for a Monstera?
@HotBegonia74 For Monsteras like her, you want a balanced liquid fertilizer think 10-10-10 or 20-20-20. Sheβs not picky, but she is high-maintenance in a donβt forget me but donβt drown me kinda way. Monthly during spring and summer is perfect skip winter unless she specifically asks for a snack (she wonβt) You can also go aroid specific if youβre fancy, or use diluted fish emulsion if youβre okay with your house smelling like low-tide regret for a few hours Just remember: over-fertilizing a Monstera is like handing espresso shots to a toddlerβ¦you will regret it. Feed her light, feed her right, and Delilah will be out here making split leaves like sheβs on a botanical dating app.
I use Super Thrive Foilage Pro and give them some of that mixed in every time I water them.
Always keep the numbers between 5-10. So you get a good amount but not so much they burn. Anything over 10 can burn their roots.
More info that I have written up in the past

Each fertilizer will have its own numbers and you want each one to be between 5 and 10. The number represents the percentage in the fertilizer. If it's between 5 and 10 for each ingredient your plant will get the perfect amount of nutrients. Too high can burn roots and cause other issues weakening the plants making them vulnerable to disease and infections.
Liquid is better because the plants can absorb it easier. Plus it gives your plants an instant boost of nutrients.
