Crispy tips, seems dry but soil is still pretty moist/alm...

Lowes rescue in a self watering pot. Removed pot and am letting the wick dry some so I can take it out and repot with better soil. I watered it maybe 4 days after I got it and moved it where it can get humidity and morning sun. Tips drying up and seems dry but I don’t have experience with this type of #PothosPack so idk if it needs more water or less. I have a humidifier set up and it’s pretty close. Too much humidity #BalticBlueCrew #help #TropicalPlants #IDKwhatIdidButItsWrong #SadPlant #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy
3ft to light, indirect
4” pot with drainage

@Petite_Eureka maybe the self watering pot is the issue. I always water mine when the top 25% of soil is dry. Brown tips could be inconsistent watering. If it just came from the store that's a possibility. Or it could be the water. Mine aren't picky but some of my plants rather have distilled or collected rain water. Either way try letting them dry out before watering and see if that helps. I don't have to give mine extra humidity with a humidifier at all but do make sure there isn't a draft. Fan or heater blowing in their direction.
@princesspitstop @PoisedAlbo now it’s getting bleached leaves? Some new leaves are warped, and mold/ mildew on an upper stem. I don’t think I’ve ever had this much trouble with a pothos.
@Petite_Eureka I'm not sure about the bleached leaves but I know that 3rd pic the leaf with the brown is sun burn. The yellow is too much water. It's looks like it's only a few of them. I would remove them from the plant. Make sure it's not in direct sunlight and don't water until it's dry. Be consistent with watering. What do you think @PoisedAlbo?
@princesspitstop @PoisedAlbo hmmmm ok! Crazy part is that it was already starting to lean towards the light and I had it with my other plants in the living room by a humidifier. I have a ti plant, some birds, a mini monstera, and a philodendron Brazil all grouped together by the window. But hey, here’s my excuse to repot! #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantTherapy thank you!
@Petite_Eureka I hope it works out! Sometimes you have to figure out what the issue is by process of elimination. It brings us closer to our plants especially once we figure out what they do and don't like. πŸ’šπŸͺ΄
@princesspitstop I repotted it with a mini monstera a few nights ago. Now it’s wilting pretty bad. I’m not sure if I need to water it better or let it dry out? I know it’s normal for a plant to be a bit cranky after being moved in with a roommate, new soil type, and a new pot. Terracotta, and my soil is chunky with orchid bark, pumice, charcoal, perlite, some biochar + compost, and sand. Mini monstera seems ok but this thing is looking pitiful. I watered it some but not much because it’s terracotta, and there’s only one drainage hole in the bottom. I have a few more cuttings that are in a glass of water too and they’re fine so I don’t get it πŸ˜“ @PoisedAlbo
@Petite_Eureka when you put your finger a couple inches down into the soil is the soil wet or is it dry? Usually when I repot I will water them in really good and then not water them again until they're dry again. I'm sure that it's acting that way just because it's in shock from being in the new pot with new soil.
@Petite_Eureka wait a few days let it recover and see how it's doing. I so wish they could talk to us! You'll start to learn how each of them behave then it will be second nature for you. 😊
