What are some useful tips to care for Sarracenia purpurea...

Got this about a week ago at a Trader Joe’s out of impulse. Got the biggest I could find but didn’t realize it was so scorched in the plastic container. It was outgrowing its pot anyway. Once my online order for sphagnum moss finally came in I Immediately potted it up with 3 parts Canadian Sphagnum peat and 2 parts Omniquartz silica sand in a plastic pot and put that pot into a white container to hold water underneath. (I didn’t do 50:50 since my sand is more fine than course) Watered it with RO water right after and placed it in a spot on the patio that gets around 6 hours of direct sunlight. Am I doing everything correctly so far? I’m used to caring for succulents so this is new to me .😅 #planthelp #CarnivorousPlants #Sarracenia #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #NewPlants
