I have some roots like that on one of mine! i put them in small pots with dirt as a science experiment ๐Ÿค“
They are aerial roots. They are searching for soil. I would direct them back into the pot and bury them. They will help your plant grow better.
Hi Janice! Your monstera is putting out aerial roots because in nature it uses these to climb trees.

Everyone treats them differently.
>Some people don't like to look and trim them off.
>Some people aim them at the soil so they can give the plants more nutrients.
>Some people tuck them in water bottles so they receive more water for the plant.
>Some people leave them alone.
>Some people train them to wrap around or grow into poles so they are supporting the plant as they do in nature.

I 100% agree with @PlantMompy! It's up to you! Personally, I like to see them trail.

I wrapped them up once, but took them out a few days later.
You can cut them back or direct them back in your pot. I cut the ones on my huge monstera.
If you can, tuck them back into the soil.
