Why is my medinilla crispy and black?
The leaf edges are slowly turning crispy, but the soil is moist not soggy and I have a humidifier going.. not sure whatβs causing the slow death?
5ft to light, indirect
8β pot with drainage
Last watered 2 years ago
Hi Ibi, welcome to Greg!
Your plant might need more light. Think "my plant can see the sun but the sun can't see my plant." Many tropical plants prefer this indirect light and keeping this saying in mind helps me find homes for them more easily!
Also, are you fertilizing or feeding? Sometimes an imbalance or over fertilization can cause this.

@PlantMompy thanks! Iβll try more light. Not fertilizing as yet.
