That doesn't really look like a corm to me. Someone else may know better than I do but, I think it's just the elongated stem base with roots coming from the nodes.

@Succulent_Soul yes and no it's definitely, not looking its best it was in a sponge and had mites when I got it and I got it about a week ago so she's in recovery at the moment

If Nadia thinks it is a corm...I'm definitely gonna side with her on it. She has much more experience than I do with Alocasias.

@DreamMachine should I remove it i already put her back in soil. She is not doing her best at the moment when I got her i had to put her through my treatment because she had mites and then when I repotted her she was in a sponge
