Can anyone help me get the glue/hideous fake flower remna...

I bought this balloon cactus around a month ago at HD because I’d been wanting one so badly, and there weren’t any there which were not smited with this atrocity. I figured it wouldn’t be a big deal, as I’ve removed other fake flowers from other cacti bought at the same place. A little acetone or alcohol to dissolve the glue, and bam. HOWEVER, they seem to have used cement to stick this flower on. I got so frustrated I hacked off at much as I could, but now it’s just mocking me every time I look at it. Alcohol has no worked, no matter how patiently I’ve tried and neither had acetone as I said. Anyone know how I can remove this without hurting my cute littlell cactus? πŸŒ΅πŸ™πŸ»πŸŒΈπŸ˜ #CacClique #BalloonCactus flowercurse">#fakeflowercurse #helpneeded #GregGang #GreggersSupportingGreggers #babevila

Ooh that’s a tough one. If those didn’t work maybe an exacto knife or small razor to very carefully try and separate it from the cactus? Although it’s possible after a matter of time whatever it is that’s attaching the flower will begin to break down enough to remove it 🀞🏼🀞🏼 Good luck!
@HeyNicePlants thank you!! I didn’t even think of that! I’ll try it πŸ’š
I bought a few cacti from Home Depot, and they always do that (I hate it!). I left mine on because they use glue guns, and the glue is super hot, and a bear to get rid of. Just let that cactus grow and eventually it will fall off. I had one cactus that had huge tines and I was able to cut the flower off- but had to leave the glue….but the cactus grew beautifully.
@SillyPlantGirl thank you! That thing is still on there! Lol but I think you’re right, it will fall off eventually! He will just have a silly hat for a while lol πŸ’š
