White spots on my sage leaves

#Sage my sage leaves have been getting these odd white spots on them. Any idea what these spots are or how to fix??? I trimmed off the previous leaves that had them but now they’re on new leaves too.

@Jade_Jolie it's likely to be powdery mildew on your Sage, a fungal diseases that usually appears as white or grayish spots with a powdery-like texture on the leaves, hence the name.
One solution is to use a Neem oil spray as that is a natural antifungal.
Let me know if you want more information.
Ohhhhh! I sprayed neem oil on it when I first got it, so maybe I should do that again. Do you know if I should do that weekly or monthly until it goes away?? Thank you!
@Jade_Jolie the most important thing is to ensure your plant is sprayed fully so even under the leaves which often get missed. I would spray at least once a week initially. There is always stronger fungicides if you find the Neem oil ineffective but it is generally pretty good.
Other steps you can take are giving your sage full sun with good soil drainage and excellent air circulation. Overwatering may have contributed so always good to check the soil's moisture level. If it came back then you need to do a thorough job so it is eradicated. It may even help to prune a little to open up the plant, if you feel you need to do so. Hope this helps provide an answer, all the best with it!
@Seymour Thank you so much! This is super helpful! I’ll try these tips and start with the been oil.
