Monstera Trims yellowing!
So I pruned down some leaves about a week ago, though just recently I noticed the base of those cuts are yellowing, even the node I took from one of the plants. I did fertilize it lighter than recommended but sooner than scheduled. Could this be the cause? Or what could it be? The rest of the plant is still thriving. #Monstera #MonsteraMob

You removed the majority of the leaf, that's why it's yellowing. The yellow parts are the bases of the leaves and should come off when they're done shrivelling up and returning nutrients to the plant. The rest of the plant will be fine.
Usually you want to keep the leaves on a plant if they aren't diseased, so I'm confused on why you did this. Especially with a stem cutting. It needs the leaf to generate food for itself to grow into a new plant.

@ExecAudreyficus I cut them as they were smaller than the other leaves and wanted to make it look more uniformed instead of chaotic looking. I did hear about the leaves bringing nutrients to the rest of the plant. Will keep that in mind. Thank you!
