Yucca offshoots?

I think it's an offshoot. Can I cut it off and pot it up? (I'll be doing one with a longer trunk (??) thing and it has roots too.) I would cut where the red line is #plantaddict #yuccacane #planttherapy #plantsmakepeoplehappy

Yeah and if you cut the trunk remember where the bottom is. You can make multiple starts. Mine was over 7ft tall and my cat kept climbing it and broke it. I will send a few pictures

It is putting out a shoot but this is the “mother plant I cut off from and just left it to see what would happen

This is starts I made from it. I gave a few away too. The two shorter ones never had leaves on them they are a middle cut.

Also does the amount of roots it has matter? The one I want to cut only is growing one root.

@RaineStorm I put mine in water to propagate it. I let it get about 4-6inches long before planting it. I know you can just put them in Soil and they will do their thing. So I don’t think it matters but I have the best success in water and perlite.
