Can I cut? Should I?

Hey everyone. I have this dragon fruit cactus that A friend gave to me and it was just about 6 in tall and literally just one piece of cactus. But now there's a piece that has grown on one side and it's like about 2 ft long now and I'm not sure if I need to cut that and propagate it or what I need to do because this is so confusing and the first time I've actually had this type of cactus before.
Any advice please help? ๐Ÿ˜…
Excuse the other plans behind it, I really don't have anywhere else to put them except for all my patio table at the moment and it's totally covered. But the dragon fruit cactus is the great big long one that I have my hand on LOL

No, just leave it and let it grow. If you want to prop it, you can, but I would leave it alone. It gives it character.
@motherearth83 Thank you much ๐Ÿ˜Š I'm just worried it will get so long it will break. If it does I'll have to try to propagate then right?๐Ÿ˜ฑ
@JessiKole yes, that's right. Make sure to let it callus first, and indoors in a window sill or something like that. I couldn't get anything to take off outside, but ehen I started doing indoors, they grew roots and new buds fast.
Bruce Lee is a great name for a Dragon Fruit. I wish I had thought of that name. ๐Ÿค” This is a very fast growing cacti. In the wild it can grow 20 ft tall๐Ÿ˜ฎ.
โ–ซ๏ธ Itโ€™s also a climbing cacti, so expect long aerial roots, like the ones you see on my Dragon. These aerial roots help this climber cling to surfaces. I had mine on a support pole, but the plant became too top heavy ๐Ÿ™‚.
โ–ซ๏ธUnfortunately my Dragon has never produced any fruit, probably because itโ€™s kept inside.
๐Ÿ™ This one of my favorite cactus. I hope your cute Dragon friend will live long and prosper.
