Split leaves

#snakeplant

Hi All

This is my first time since owner her that I've taken the time to look at her leaves. Looks like some parts of the plant are experiencing leaf splitting. I've followed the water schedule and even snoozed if I found the soil to still be moist.

Can I cut the leaves off that are split? I see the inner younger leaves aren't split. I just want a visually more aesthetic plant if it doesn't hurt her.
6ft to light, indirect
6” pot with drainage

It’s still beautiful even with a tiny split…There is a small pointy tip at the end of each leaf. If that tip is broken off, the leaf will not grow any more. If it is still pointy, it will continue to grow. It will never repair itself, though. I don’t believe cutting it will hurt it but leaving them will not hurt it either.
When you mean the tip broken off, you mean the leaf tip circled in red? The tip circled in blue is a "healthy" tip?
IMO the scars give it a unique character and does not harm the plant. I look at these small imperfections as war scars rather than ugliness.
