That depends what the climate is like where you live. They can't handle as much direct sun as other cacti, so it also depends if the outdoor area where you planned to keep it is exposed to full sun or if it has some shade. If putting it outside will mean an increase in sunlight, make sure you expose it gradually so it doesn't burn. Try an hour or two the first week, then bump it up by an hour every week or every other week until it's acclimated.

I’m in Northern Indiana, zone 6b. We are starting the time of year where it’s going to be in the 80s and 90s during the day, no lower than mid to high 60s at night. The humidity is also absurd. The dew point won’t be below 60% now until October. I have a variety of places I could put it. 1. Part sun/dappled shade, afternoon sun 2. Dappled shade, morning sun 3. Full sun, afternoon sun

@Greys_n_Gardens I'd recommend the dappled shade with morning sun. AM sun is gentler than PM sun, which would likely be too much for it. I'd still gradually acclimate it to its new spot, since sunlight outdoors is much more intense than sunlight plants get through a window 😊

You can use the hashtags to find groups.
For example, simply type # and a lot of groups pop up under the word "plant".
Tap on whatever group you want to join and tap JOIN.
There are many other groups besides plant.
I recommend #thewateringhole, which has almost 100 active members. This group was founded recently. It's fun and a great source of knowledge.
If you # the name of a specific plant, there's usually a group. For example #golden.
There's also groups under the hashtag #greg
And on and on down the rabbit hole!
As mentioned before, replying or asking individuals uses the @ symbol.
I am using an old Android phone so am not equipped to answer your questions about using an IPhone but...for sure...folks on #thewateringhole can.
