Why is my plant turning yellow?

I don’t know if it’s getting too much sun or too little water. #PlantTherapy #PlantCorner #HappyPlants
4” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 year ago
Too much sun does not look like that. The leaves will typically look pale green. That looks like a watering issue, but idk. So, I’ll let my friend, Shannon @SuperbRaspfern , who is an expert on plant care help diagnose! I’m confident she can help you troubleshoot AND guide you with proper care πŸ˜ŠπŸ’šπŸŒ±
Hey there!!! So in mu experience with philodendrons they usually turn yellow when they have root rot. If it was too little water the leaves would typically get droopy first as a way of telling you she needs watering. But honestly the roots will tell you if it is overwatering or underwatering. Good luck
@peixe.pt thank you so much I’ll check as soon as I can to see if it has root rot
