Help! Is it rot???

I just noticed that the one of the stems of my Peperomia was a bit wobbly and with just a little pull it came off. Second picture is the bottom of the poor stem. Now I’m concerned because if it’s rot then at this point there’s nothing else I can do for the rest of the plant but hold her hand as she agonizes.
2ft to light, indirect
6” pot with drainage

You could prop it up in water to encourage the roots to come back. But you could also replant it in new soil that isn’t in the old pot. I’d recommend washing your pots with soap and water and then spraying it down with sanitizer. Let it completely dry out, then water it with about half of what you were watering it before. Just in winter, plants go a little dormant, so they require less water.
