If you live in a place that has winters with temperatures that fall below fifty degrees Fahrenheit, plant your ripple jade in a container indoors. These plants require at least six hours of direct sunlight (or plenty of partial sun), so place the container near a window or bright light source.
Water your ripple jade infrequently but thoroughly, and allow the soil to dry between waterings. Your plant may need more water in the warm growing seasonβspring and summerβbut once fall rolls around, they'll require less moisture.

@KikiGoldblatt thanks. Itβs been extremely hot here, like over 100 degrees during the daytime and probably over 85 in the window where she sits. Iβve been following Gregβs watering recommendations but maybe itβs too much? She gets a deep bottom watering every time
@EagerPhlox
If itβs outside maybe it needs to be watered more often.
Browning leaves are typically caused by under watering, sunburn, or overwatering. If the leaf tips are turning brown and crunchy, the soil likely became too dry for too long in between waterings. This can also cause the plant to drop leaves.

@Jilliebeanstalk thanks so much. Thatβs helpful. I guess Iβve been overwatering. Seems like I only water it every couple weeks but maybe thatβs still too much. Iβm going to try snoozing more often and hopefully itβll bounce back. I love my little freaky jade! π
@EagerPhlox glad to help πͺ΄
@EagerPhlox Try a water meter. I've killed too many succulents over watering, so now I always check. Amazingly, I press the snooze button on Greg watering prompts a lot.
