It would help to put it back in the south-facing window since it has the most robust lighting and stick to watering the cactus only once every 1-2 months.
However, one tip I was told back in my college days with plump cacti like this was that if I wanted to know if my cactus needed water, I could either take a blunt stick of some kind (like the erasure part of a pencil) for cati with needles or use my fingers and press or squeeze lightly on the body of the cactus, if the cati indents then it needs water, but if it stays firm it doesn't.

@Seedstarter @coffeeNcalathea was sitting in a south facing window on our upper floor that got lots of light! Now itβs in west facing windows on the first floor! It definitely could be overwatering but Iβve only watered it a handful of times now and used a lot less than I thought I should. The pot does have drainage!
