Did anyone ask about the air quality yet? (Canada fires, ...

It’s other places too just off the top of my head but Midwest people. So, first off my plants are doing fine. They don’t care. But should I not eat the fruits and vegetables they produce. Cus, plants would obsorb that… ? Idk.
Idk. I just saw a perfect and ready strawberry yesterday but at the same time I had to wear a mask and cover my mouth with my sleeve/hand to go get it.

Keeping in mind it’s on my balcony and arm’s length away from the door.

I picked it but I put it in my fridge cus idk what’s up

Chicago here, though I'm not sure. I don't often go outside these days, due to many health issues. I am sure someone would have a better idea, though. It's always good to check, for your safety, so it makes sense!
Give any fruit an extra cleaning, mix water with vinegar if you’re really worried and rinse well. Fruits don’t really ingest pollutants, and since the wild fires are mainly wood you have less to worry about then say a toxic chemical fire.
