I think I have to chop her up 😔

I got this beautiful strawberry shake a little over a month ago and its roots seemed to be rotted or dried out. I cut them off and started over in stratum but still have not gotten any new roots and looks like small spots of rot are spreading on the stem. I guess my only option now is to chop her up and hope for the best? 😭 also, she has strange texture on the stem of the newest leaf (which hasn’t changed or grown since I got it). I would let it dry out on a paper towel to let the rot on the stem dry, then i would stick it in a pot of soil then put it in a gallon ziplock near a grow light. Ive learned with plants that need a little extra tlc to put in a bag to seal the moisture and put it near a grow light :)

If you are having rot, use a pot with drainage plus the stratum. Waterings will be more often but rot will subside. Only do so after letting the rot callus as stated in the above response.
