Turtle vine with weird spots?
Hi Greggers!
I recently propagated my turtle vine, and the leaves are crispy (I probably underwatered) and have these super weird spots? I'd love help identifying the problem and how I can fix it. Thank you so much! #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #turtlevine #planthelp #question #pestcontrol

I would suggest pruning and chopping any dead leaves/stem from your plant and giving it some air to breathe. Like you said, probably underwatered and leaves cracking due to dehydration. If you’re scared of overwatering, make sure the first 2-3 inches of soil are dry before you water. Don’t let it dry out too much or you’ll lose your plant!

I’m not sure if this is the same issue - but I have a “pink panther plant” that looks similar to this. A client of mine gave me five stems from her plant - and her plant started to die (we both didn’t know anything about plants at this point). After reading and asking around, I found out she gave me a mother stem instead of a daughter (the stems that shoot off of a branch). I wonder if that might have happened to you since you just propagated your plant. First photo from may (the 5 stems) - 2nd photo from today
@overgrownoasis I love how @kscape is amazing with her answers. She’s amazing period.
