Hi Tommy welcome to Greg! Is your lemon in a nursery pot (the one it came in)? I have a Meyer too and the first year was touch and go (I’m in Texas too). These trees thrive on minimum of 6-8 hours sun a day, they need consistently moist soil, not soggy tho. The soil is important- it needs to be a sandy/loamy soil that’s slightly acidic. I used citrus soil from Home Depot and I added coarse sand and perlite. I also add some coffee ground to help with the acidity. If your lemon hasn’t been repotted since you got it, my advice is to repot it asap. If you got it from a store such as Home Depot or Lowe’s- the vendors only put their plants in a moss bark type mixture- to hold water and drain. So plants should be repotted with good soil as that’s wheee they get a lot of their nutrients and also they actually get a drink of water. I think if you do this your lemon will start looking better. Just know repotting stressed plants so it will be a bit sad for a few days, but it’ll perk back up. I hope this helps☺️
Looks like lack of nutrients? I'm guessing either nitrogen

Use a balanced fert with a 1-1-1 ratio of nutrients or equivalent or similar [ie. 3-3-3, 26-24-25] that comes with micronutrients as well
