Help save my Hydrangea

Hi! I’m a newish plant mama! I’m starting to venture out and my fiance got me a double delight Hydragea. I went to repot it and it’s been over 100 degrees in Cali right now. The next day the leaves were flopped over, some were crispy. The plant sat in shaded area, I even have a mister going to help with humidity. I brought the plant inside assuming it was just too hot outside and soaked in water, it’s by a window to get light but please help before it gets worse:( #Hydrangea
10” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 year ago
Oh no it definitely looks like it got too much heat. It happened to my neighbors plant over the summer. I hope moving it inside helps. I don’t know what else to tell you to do other than move it indoors for awhile. Curious what the other #GregGang #Greggers have to say. Sending healing vibes!
That’s what I was thinking 😭 my other babies outside are doing fine so I was hoping he would be okay out there too.
Hydrangeas do this when it’s too hot and they don’t have enough water. Try watering deeply and slowly (never get the leaves wet, they hate it!) in the morning, and possibly the evening if it’s still looking wilted

Hope this helps!
Thank you! Do you think I should leave it inside for now or water more and have it outside?
Let it have a long soak in a pan of water. I keep mine on porch in saucers of water. My dad swore by planting his outside in shady areas under water taps so it got wet a lot from dripping of faucet.
I have mine in a pot outside. I don’t have room to bring her inside, but I’m an outside plant kind of girl. My happy time is going outside and visiting them everyday. I struggle with Hydrangeas, but not going to let it beat me. She gets early morning eastern sun and shade in the afternoon here in Alabama. It’s hot here so I keep her watered every few days. We had a few days of rain and it really perked her up. Good luck with your baby πŸ™πŸ»
