Hello! Welcome to the #GregGang by the look of the damage part. There is a yellow halo.. That does indicate a fungal infection. The best thing to do is change the soil. Check the roots, if any are mushy, trim them off. Clean the pot it was in. And of course trim off the infected leaf. It is sick... Hope this helps!! 🐞🏜ðŸŒĩðŸŠīðŸĶ‹
@Laura27 Is it possible that you might have gotten water on the leaves?
@princesspitstop Yes, not me but it was drenched when I got it.
@Laura27 I ask because it looks like mine did when I put it inside a gallon Ziploc bag for humidity. The leaf was laying against the plastic and the humidity was in between the leaf and the bag which caused the yellowing and thinning on the leaf. They do not like their leaves touched or water on them at all. So always be careful when you water it. If water happens to get on them dab them gently with a paper towel. My leaf looks bad but it's still alive. You can cut them off with some sterilized scissors if you'd like or you can leave them.
@princesspitstop that actually sounds likely. It was drenched and the leaves were touching the soil when I got it.
@Laura27 Well at least it's not fungal or pest! 😊
