Replace or refill?

I’m starting my 2nd attempt at propagating a snake plant from a leaf cutting. The bottom end is cut in an upside down v shape. I waited about 3 days for it to callous. It’s sitting in a small glass vase with water and prop drops. It’s indoors and 6+ ft away from a window. It’s not directly under a grow light but I think it gets a decent amount of indirect light from it. Unfortunately it’s already showing one of the yellow spots. Do y’all replace the water every week or just top it off? #SnakePlant #PropagationStation #PlantAddict
@iHasCheeks Hi Jasmine! Welcome to Greg! I replace my prop water every other day. I would replace it more often than once per week- good luck!πŸͺ΄πŸŒΈπŸŒΊ
I've never had luck propping snake plant leaves in water, they always rot. I do them in 25% cactus soil and 75% perlite instead, that's worked really well for me.
I try and replace every other day, I have had recent success propagating a snake plant in water
@iHasCheeks You can also add a cutting of a Golden Pothos in with the water propagating Sansevieria, that helps with root development.

I agree, you should replace it every other day.
@Ponytailmom thank you! 😊
@stephongreg thank you! 😊
Good luck! Never tried this. Will if you’re successful
