Wow! Love that blooming gasteria! Mine put out new growth, but no blooms or new pups yet.
That bloom closeup is a piece of art!! 🤩😍😱
@DreamMachine @RefinedSandwort thank you both so much!
@CordialWildyam The flowers of the Ox tongue look so pretty. Great job getting the Gasteria to bloom!🤩😍🤩🤩👍

I love succulent blooms they're all so beautiful ❤️🪴
I love to see the blooms on plants I have but aren’t big enough yet. Gives me hope. Btw do you keep your gasteria in lower light than some other genera? I’ve got the greenhouse which gets very sunny in the summer. But I can also put it inside in the solarium. Which do you suggest?
@BEsucculent I don’t know if I know enough to suggest anything! This is my first gasteria and my first bloom. But since you asked…I think the best things I’ve done for my succulents are a) supplemental light. This one is in an east-facing window and still has a monios-l light strip about 6-8” over it; b) have them somewhere where they experience seasonal temps. My plant room gets up to 100F in summer and down to about 50F overnight in the winter; c) let them experience seasonal light. My lights are timed to just before sunrise and just after sunset, to mimic a little lower latitude. I noticed big changes in how my succulents grew once they weren’t getting a set amount of light every single day
