Looking for some advice with my Monstera! I’ve had no new leaves in about 6 months now, but have had two long roots(?) grow. Any ideas what I should do with these, and if my plant is just done growing new leaves now? 🀣 #Monstera

Those are arial roots! They usually grow from monsteras to grab onto things for support in the wild. when mine shoots out arial roots, I just direct them into the soil and they will start to bring nutrients to the plant and act as a root. You can either leave them be, direct them in the soil, or get a moss pole to allow it to climb.
If you haven’t had new leaves in a while, that just might mean it’s focusing its energy on building a root system for now. It will go back to producing new leaves when it’s ready. 🌱
I gave my monstera some fertilizer a month ago and now it has 7 new leaves. I bet yours is hungry too
@ImitableDogrose what type of fertilizer do you use? I feel like I need to fertilize all of my plants, it’s something I’ve never done & I’ve had plants all of my adult life. I bet I will be amazed!
Big green leaves
Happy monstera
It helps if u cut off smaller leaves to promote more leaf growth. Also check that the pot isn’t root bound
