I shouldn’t be allowed out of the house.
I don’t even know what all of these are. I know most, but not all, and I’m iffy on whether one of them is a Prince of Orange (PoO *giggle*) or some other kind of prince or wizard or whatever (gotta love the Arthurian philo gang). Lowe’s is not known for good labeling.
Also, Target has a few goodies on clearance. Might be worth checking out to see if there’s any left at your local store.
And for those who know her, you’ll see that Pip is out on parole for a bit this evening, getting acclimated to the rest of the house now that she’s no longer riddled with a super contagious fungal infection. Welcome to the jungle, little girl. Please don’t eat any of it.

@JesssJungle Seriously, Jess; it’s gotten to be worse than buying my granddaughter all the Little People I can find and every single Bluey thing I come across. I bought Bluey socks today for crying out loud, among other Bluey things. And Little People. She’s TWO. The child cannot possibly play with all the crap I buy her, but does that stop me? Noooo. Just like not having ANY space left to put more plants doesn’t stop me from buying SIXTEEN new plants in the last seven days. 😳🤦🏼♀️
@HisLobster I love this so much! I love that you got these things to add to your joy, and space and ambiance. I am a big believer in this! I’ve stock up on supplies at the end of the season because it just makes sense!
I see a stingray alocasia (just ordered one), a variegated money tree, beautiful pink agloneama, syngonium and… as for the PoO… I don’t think it is. Its leaves are orange and then are yellow, then brown and turn a muddy green on PoO (I could be so wrong though). Lemme grab a pic of mine when it was younger.

I think the super bright pink is an Aglaonema (hard to tell from here) but they come in all sorts of beautiful colours (like Caladium do 🥰).
I HONESTLY don't see the problem though... You're saving these beauties from a miserable life being over watered or starved of water in a box store?! What could possibly be wrong with that? 🤷♀️😜🤣 It's a plantarian service you're performing! Lol you should get a medal in my book! Haha 🤭🤣 xxx

@Chevysgirl11 Yes, I did. All 8 of them. And I’d picked up 5 at Sprouts last Friday, while I ordered 2 starter Black Cherry PPPs, and finally the Laurentii Snakeplant from the #GregPlantShop a couple of days ago. 🫨🤫I’m not sure if I should be ashamed or proud of myself. 😵💫
@Plant1onME @Arid_oasis So, I was actually surprised. Their plants looked pretty decent and I’d been avoiding doing the math while I was putting shit in my cart willy-nilly, but I ended up with 8 plants, and 6 cache pots for shy of $150! 😳🤑 I was so stoked. Especially since I’d been to Walmart earlier in the day and bought a crap-ton of pots there, too. (Yes, I’m fully aware that I need an Intervention. 🥴🤒)
I’m still not sure about the one philo… It has a new leaf coming and it’s looking pretty reddish. I guess time will tell? LOL
PS. Does it bother any of you like it does me that Greg refuses to list Scheffleras as Scheffleras and calls them all dwarf umbrellas?? 😑🙄 I love them and they remind me of my childhood, and Schefflera is fun to say and that’s what the damned plants are for f*ck’s sake! Come on! LOL

@HisLobster yes! It’s like how they list scindapsus as a pothos! @JenniB81 and Inhabe talked about this. It is so frustrating because I have a silver satin, an argyreaus , an exotica, a silvery Ann, and Greg says they’re all a satin pothos 🤦🏼♀️
Lol it's become a big of mine too now April! @theoddasity) 🤣🤣 In fact I find myself more and more using Epipremnum and Scindapsys rather than saying Pothos at all (since Pothos isn't really a thing any more 🤓😂)

Mine isn't a big standard Schefflera she's a Charlotte and deserves her proper title (plus try searching the database some time there's a few odd duplications!! Like one person had entered a plant as blah blah variegata and there it is again as blah blah variegated...

@JenniB81 So far, I think they look suspiciously similar to a regular ol’ PPP, but the seller had a really high rating and her example plant is f-ing to die for drool worthy, so… I’ll just wait and see. I bought a regular PPP (in this og post lol) just to compare to as it grows so I’ll know whether I got scammed or not. I hope these little guys make it; my clear pots aren’t here yet so I just dropped ‘em into a cleaned out orchid grow pot that I was able to unearth from the garage and I’m using a spray bottle with rain water in it to keep the itty-bitty amount of dirt they came with moist. 🤷🏼♀️ We shall see….

@CourtlyKingfern Hahaha!! So funny! They’re all doing good so far. Fifteen out of sixteen are in quarantine, ten of them in full isolation from anything else, five of them breathing the same air as others but not shelf or ground space, and the two little black cherry PPPs are sorta livin’ it up with a bunch of other spoiled babies that need really good light, and I can keep my eyes on them here easier too. One of them is struggling a bit and flagging from the journey west (and all the heat of the mailbox 🤬), but it seems to have one strong leaf on the stalk with maybe a new one coming, so I think it might make it after all. Whether they’re REAL black cherries, though… Gonna have to wait a while and see unfortunately.
