Well, hello, strangers! 💗 I’ve been gone from the app for a few weeks, moving into my new apartment. It’s honestly been a nightmare and I don’t want to talk about it! 😭🤣 Let’s just say, ridiculously high rents for tiny, rundown apts, a flooding bathroom, a broken shower handle, a shower curtain rod that fell on my partner’s head while he was in there, the kitchen sink springing a leak TWICE, not being able to use our fancy new washer dryer that we are paying extra rent for, I could really go on and on 🤦🏻♀️ but I won’t. Because this—Greg—is my happy place! And I’m so glad to be able to post again! 🥳 Hello to all my friends, I’ve missed you so much! And I bet I’ve missed so much happening, too! At least spring is coming and while I’m sad I no longer have an outdoor space to garden in, it’s only for a year (SO moving when my lease is up—I can probably only afford a shed at that point with the prices these landlords have the ✨audacity✨ to charge, but I NEED a private outdoor space! I need a garden outside!) Anyway, all my plants are kinda crammed into one room right now while we try to find time to unpack and organize between work and all. But they are happy! They love the windows and the east-southeast light! And I do have a skylight that’s to die for that I can’t wait to adorn with plants. PS I know I complained a lot in this post, and I certainly could continue, BUT I am stoked to live right up in the mix of such a fun, cool little city. We love it here! We are just going to be more judicious next time and try to find a place with some kind of outdoor space that’s private because as an introvert I need that lol! Btw, #BuddyTheTurtle is not here yet—he’s staying at my moms until I can make room for him! I wanted to put him in the room with my plants but there is ONE outlet and he needs a few for his filters and basking light and whatnot. 🐢 I see him a lot but I miss the little dude!
@CourtlyKingfern Thank you! 🩷 Moving is a universally stressful experience for a reason, I guess! I’m happy I’m getting to tend to my plants finally—they’ve been a little neglected lately. Missed you and I hope you’re well! I thought of you when I got the pansies last week 💕
@BabeVila 💞❣️ love the pansies as they were my late husbands favorite flowers. I have needed to get by Lowe’s or my local nursery and pick up a few for the flower pots outside along my driveway. I have been Busy lately helping my youngest son who is getting married in May. So exciting times. Don’t stress too much on moving.. it will fall into place eventually! 😜🤭🙏🏻
