Whenever I’m here i think, “maybe I should simplify my collection at home.”
Then I get home and look at all my plants and think, “Nah!!!” 😂🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱

@princesspitstop I love that stark color difference too. There’s something very calming about having just that one little pot to take care of ❤️
@Idplantthat It’s definitely a happy place for me ❤️ And the hummingbirds seem to like the pop of color too, so that’s a bonus! ☀️
@FamedGymealily You know I love a good logistics question Kristopher 🙌 I try to take full advantage and come up about every other week. Then I can water plants and change the hummingbird food about once a week in both places. It’s much easier once school is out (I’m a teacher). If I’m in a pinch, I can text a neighbor to give them a drink 💦
@Shells_Garden What a beautiful retreat you have there! 🥰 I have the dark red ones at home and have had good luck with them in full sun and on the sprinkler system. These are actually the orange/red (the pic doesn’t capture that well). It’s the color my grandma always got so they make me think of her 🥰
@RefinedSandwort There’s an advantage to taking your holiday another time for sure! (Introverts unite 🙌)
@debbiedo I just bring them in (I usually repot to make sure no critters come with them) and put them in a sunny window or under a grow light. They still bloom if they get enough light but they do slow down a bit. If you want, you can also unpot them, let them dry out and the foliage die off and then store the roots in a brown paper bag in a cool, dry spot. Then in spring replant, and they will grow right back. I’ve had the same ones for years and used both ways 🩷
