This is the only plant I tend to (inside or outside) at the lake πβ€οΈβοΈ
Whenever Iβm here i think, βmaybe I should simplify my collection at home.β
Then I get home and look at all my plants and think, βNah!!!β ππ±π±π±π±π±
Happy Memorial Day Weekend everyone!

@debbiedo That looks so relaxing up there in the trees! That pop of color against the brown and green background is beautiful β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ Have a wonderful Memorial Day π
@princesspitstop I love that stark color difference too. Thereβs something very calming about having just that one little pot to take care of β€οΈ
@Idplantthat Itβs definitely a happy place for me β€οΈ And the hummingbirds seem to like the pop of color too, so thatβs a bonus! βοΈ
@WormWarriorFarm π Good to know Rob!
@FamedGymealily You know I love a good logistics question Kristopher π I try to take full advantage and come up about every other week. Then I can water plants and change the hummingbird food about once a week in both places. Itβs much easier once school is out (Iβm a teacher). If Iβm in a pinch, I can text a neighbor to give them a drink π¦
@Shells_Garden What a beautiful retreat you have there! π₯° I have the dark red ones at home and have had good luck with them in full sun and on the sprinkler system. These are actually the orange/red (the pic doesnβt capture that well). Itβs the color my grandma always got so they make me think of her π₯°
@Shells_Garden All of your different colors are making me want to branch out color wise though! π
@debbiedo Hahaha change of pace isn't it. πβ€οΈ I love that you have a travel plant. π₯°
@debbiedo Love the red geraniums!! Enjoy the weekend! Itβs a work weekend for me. Iβll take my holiday another time.
@RefinedSandwort Thereβs an advantage to taking your holiday another time for sure! (Introverts unite π)
@debbiedo sounds like you got it all worked out and a perfect reason to visit often! Iβm a teacher over here for ESL, luckily most of my work is online these days so I can check on plants, bonsai and fruits all day long π
@debbiedo Oh, to have a lake nearby to relax at? But , nah that wouldnβt work down here in FL it would be full of alligators π! Have a wonderful enjoyable weekend everyone!!
@FamedGymealily You have to love a work schedule that works for your plants!!
@Ms.Persnickety being worried about alligators would DEFINITELY spoil the fun! π¬
@debbiedo
Relaxing on the patio in your Birkies, enjoying the pretty flowers and Nature.
I bet it smells divine where you are! π

@debbiedo and sheβs a beauty
@Shells_Garden what a great place to relax. The blooms are the best thing
@FamedGymealily now thatβs a plan
@MariansOasis Thank you Marian!
@FitBrowallia Thank you Jonchel!
@Boymom-plantmom β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
@debbiedo I just bring them in (I usually repot to make sure no critters come with them) and put them in a sunny window or under a grow light. They still bloom if they get enough light but they do slow down a bit. If you want, you can also unpot them, let them dry out and the foliage die off and then store the roots in a brown paper bag in a cool, dry spot. Then in spring replant, and they will grow right back. Iβve had the same ones for years and used both ways π©·
