I think I would cut on the right side of the second root from the left- if you are only cutting it into 2 pieces- that’s what I would probably do but I can’t hold it in my hand so it may not be the best decision🥴 I would want 2 roots in one section if it were mine! Are you sure you want to split a plant that size? 8 leaves is about the size where a BMF just starts splitting/pinnating, so cutting a plant that is still that immature is going to set back its growth. The costa farms ones might grow/recover faster because they have a different leaf shape (they look very distinctly more like a BMF hybrid than true BMF and CF BMF pinnate much earlier), but it seems a shame to me to split that plant when it’s just starting to get mature.
