@Idplantthat I just planted some. Plus I’m an avid birder too! And yep! The hummingbird is my favorite! Here is Harvey the hummingbird, Ricky and Lucy, the California Quail couple and the Finch I caught drinking… cool beans!!!
@HummingbirdMint I love that! 💕 I love hummingbirds and quails. My dad loved birds too. We did incubator guinea fowl, and one of our neighbors found a nest 🪺 of quail eggs, and I guess the momma got killed, so they brought them to our house. They hatched, and I was the first to find them, so I opened the top to set some feed in. Holy cow! Those little popcorns can move even right after birth. I had three friends and I searching the house for these little popcorn-sized quails. 🤣🤣 It was an experience. Don’t worry, we found them all and then did a natural release back into the ‘wild’. They were so cute 🥰 but what an experience 🤣🤦♀️ you are so lucky to still have quail around; we rarely see them anymore.
