@MightyAloLover if you provide a place for all your runners to grow on like a trellis or a pole the runners will make leaves once secured and then once the leaves fill out the runners the plant will focus on blooming. The rope is however different rule of thumb… slow slow grower and a slow slow bloomer that’s why I was so excited to post the pics of her blooming !!!
That is so beautiful and I love it 😍. I want a Hoya but don’t know what to get.
Publix bloom … it smells like chocolate
@Hoyaobsessed so pretty! My Publix hasn’t bloomed yet.
So rewarding !!! WINNING!!!
Some of my Hoyas bloom before it reaches maturity and some don’t…. I have 2 Publix and neither one bloomed until they were a few years old and really filled out their pot.
@Ninabeena Thank you! So many Hoyas to choose from. My first Hoya was my Krimson Queen
@Hoyaobsessed mine might take a while then. She’s more interested in growing runners it seems like. My Krohniana has bloomed a few times already in the year I’ve had it.
Beautiful!🀩

Alo Michelle πŸ‘‹ What a lovely plant 🀩 so glad you decided to share it with us, than you so much ! Can you tell me more about it eg what's your secret ? πŸ€”πŸ˜‰
❀️❀️❀️❀️❀️❀️ I cannot wait, till mine blooms
@MightyAloLover just outstanding Michelle! Does this plant’s bloom have a smell? I haven’t ventured into Hoya’s yet except my single heart leaf one. Happy dance for you!! πŸ’ƒβ€οΈπŸ•Ί
@HisLobster thank you!
@Seymour mine grows under a grow light, I water about once a week and mix foliage pro and a couple Bughut products every watering 😊
@CourtlyKingfern it does have a kind of sweet smell to it. I love my Hoyas the ones I have are pretty easy to care for. Some are pretty slow growing like my compacta.
@MightyAloLover Hey Michelle (love that name as one of my best friends is Michelle), so I added the name to one of my favorite plants

Thanks for your reply and I need to add some Hoya to my jungle as I have heard and seen so much about them lately. And they are said to be needing similar conditions to my Nepenthes, I believe. It’s a lovely flower 🌸 so I appreciate your comment. Am I right that you also like the β€œmighty Alo(casia)?” Do you have a favorite ?🀩
Hello! I do love the β€œmighty” Alocasia! Right now my favorite is my pink variegated bambino. I have two variegated black velvets I’m trying to grow from tissue culture, we’ll see how that goes lol.
