@Lynsplants I’ve always thought these looked prehistoric too 😂 They’re beautiful! Are you going to put them together or leave them in separate pots?
@debbiedo I was pondering and ended up keeping them separate! Hopefully with time they will be amazing! I had 2 30yr old outdoor elephant ears at my first home that were HUGE and unfortunately once I rented the property out somehow they disappeared… super sad but if I can have a smaller version of them now, I’ll be happy!

@Lynsplants Not sure those are black velvet … look like non variegated Frydeks. Black velvet don’t have deep notch at stem end, are more obovate and less arrowhead in shape and are velvety in texture. Here’s a pic of black velvet.
@SunSoilLove that’s what the plant label said they were! And they are very velvety textured ..even Greg ID same…I just looked up the frydek green velvet and you’re right!! Either way they have a home with dozens of other orphans 🤣
