My sarracenia has just opened a huge pitcher! Itβs the biggest one the plant has produced so far. She has also been doing a good job of ridding the house of a fraction of Japanese Beatles, despite being 4 rooms away and inside of a greenhouse. πͺ΄π Iβm very proud of all the growth sheβs had since I got her 3 - 4 months back. π± The first picture is when I had just gotten her and the second is her now! π±πͺ΄ @Merranda I think youβd appreciate a post on sarracenias. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #GrowLights #cpclubthursday #CarnivorousPlants #CarnivorousClub #Sarracenia

@Ninabeena thank you! Iβm sure it will, just give it some time.
@Merranda thank you! I figured youβd appreciate a before and after on a sarracenia.
@I_AM_HOUSEPLANT thank you! You should get one!
@reese.rae Great photo and nice to see your plant loving things so much! A before and after photo is a great idea π‘ itβs impressive how it has taken off.
@Seymour thank you! I like to think she appreciates my care.
@MonsterasInc thank you! I keep mine under a grow light for around 12 - 14 hours a day, although if youβre doing direct sunlight Iβd recommend upwards of 6 hours. Sheβs planted in sphagnum moss and a carnivorous plant soil, (sorry Iβm not sure which that is), around her roots. I also have her in a little dish of distilled water for constant access so the moss doesnβt run dry.
