Thanks @ZanyTanekaha, @AwesomePlants, and @LuxuryMint! I thought it would smell a bit stronger, but it reminds me a bit of floral and jasmine! Itβs very nice.

Thanks everyone! @PlantznBirdz @FabRubbercup @AlaskaDogMom @Sassylimey @FirstCanna @Propa @DapperPineapple

@Some_rando That depends a lot on the type of Hoya! The ones you commonly see at stores with the bigger thick leaves and thick stems are pretty resilient to abuse, but there are tons of different types that can become very finicky but thatβs getting into speciality and rare collecting. Making them thrive and bloom is a bit more work.
If you want to get into Hoyas, I recommend finding a healthy plant to start. Thereβs been a bit of an outbreak of microscopic mites that damage Hoyas, so Iβd recommend looking for one with active growth at the ends of the vines/tendrils. You definitely want to avoid any plants with scarring on the leaves or strange looking knobby growth on the nodes as they wonβt grow and youβll have to treat the mites.
