Good morning! New plant mom here. Iโve been wanting to start a garden for years but never really had the space or mindset to actually commit to it, and was honestly terrible at keeping any type of plant alive past a few days. But now Iโm ready and have the space so my husband finally agreed to help me get it started and bought me a few plants to sit on our deck. Any advice on care for these babies? #NewPlantMom #PlantTherapy

Hi Breyia, welcome to Greg and congratulations on a new adventure!
As far as cape jasmine go:
- bright, indirect light. Direct morning sun is fine but afternoon sun is too hot to be directly on them.
- be sure to water at the base. Depending on the weather it could be as frequently as every few days and you can mulch them when you put them in the ground.
- they love acidic soil
- you live in their ideal climate so they should be pretty happy!
- "prune after bloom" and if you deadhead (remove the flower after it fades) it'll likely produce more for a longer period of time.
