@DreamMachine they are technically not curly. I just couldn't wait bragging so I took the pictures while they were still opening 😅
And it's not that the blooms themselves are huge, but they are big enough that a whole halfsphere of a peduncle is. I just measured, the diameter is 9 cm. Do with that info what you will, too tired to convert them to exact inches. Diameter of a single open flower is 2 cm, so a bit less than an inch.

@MusicalRedmint 😱 Wow! Just beautiful. I do a lot of my clothing patterns in cm (because our standard seam allowance of 5/8 of an inch is *annoying* 🥴 ) so I can picture it well!
